Coaching Terms & Expectations
Coaching Terms & Expectations
To ensure all coaching is delivered safely, professionally, and in a way that best supports your experience, please read the following information before getting started.
My coaching is designed to support your physical, mental, and overall wellbeing through personalised training, accountability, and lifestyle guidance. Every programme is tailored individually, and open communication throughout the coaching process is encouraged to ensure you feel fully supported along the way.
Health & Medical Responsibility
All clients will be required to complete a health and lifestyle questionnaire before beginning coaching to ensure training is appropriate, safe, and tailored to your individual needs.
By participating in coaching, you confirm that you are medically fit to exercise and understand that all guidance provided is intended to support, not replace, advice from your GP, doctor, midwife, physiotherapist, or other healthcare professional.
If at any stage you experience symptoms, discomfort, pain, or changes in your health, it is your responsibility to seek appropriate medical advice and inform me as soon as possible.
Coaching Support & Communication
For clients enrolled in coaching packages with ongoing support, WhatsApp communication is available Monday - Friday during working hours.
While I will always do my best to respond as soon as possible, response times may vary depending on workload and availability. Coaching support is intended for accountability, guidance, and check-ins, rather than immediate or emergency support.
Healthy boundaries are important to ensure I can support all clients effectively while also protecting my own wellbeing and balance.
Payments, Renewals & Pausing
All coaching payments are non-refundable once a programme or coaching period has begun.
Monthly coaching subscriptions will automatically renew every 4 weeks unless paused or cancelled in line with the notice period outlined below.
For rolling coaching programmes, including pregnancy coaching, a minimum of 14 days’ written notice is required prior to your next billing date should you wish to pause or cancel your coaching. This allows adequate time for programme planning, scheduling, and ongoing client management.
Paused coaching can be restarted at a later date, subject to availability.
Programme Expectations
Results will always vary from person to person depending on consistency, lifestyle, stress levels, sleep, nutrition, recovery, and overall commitment to the coaching process.
My role is to provide guidance, structure, support, and accountability throughout your journey, however, long-term results ultimately come from consistency and the implementation of the support provided.
My coaching philosophy is rooted in balance, sustainability, and long-term wellbeing. This is not about extremes, punishment, or all-or-nothing approaches.
Pregnancy Coaching
Pregnancy coaching programmes are adapted specifically to each trimester and designed to support safe movement, strength, mobility, and overall wellbeing throughout pregnancy.
As every pregnancy journey is different, it is important that you communicate any symptoms, medical advice, or changes in your health throughout your coaching experience.
Coaching can continue safely throughout pregnancy with appropriate adaptations, however additional medical guidance may be recommended where appropriate.
Postnatal Coaching
Before beginning any postnatal coaching programme, you should have received medical clearance from your doctor, GP, midwife, or relevant healthcare professional, typically at your 6-week postnatal check, although this may vary depending on your birth and individual recovery.
Postnatal recovery timelines are different for every woman, and all programmes are adapted around your individual stage of recovery, symptoms, and experience level.
Where appropriate, additional support from a women’s health physiotherapist may also be recommended to ensure you feel fully supported throughout your recovery journey.
